MyBlogGuest Official Chat is Each Thursday!

Monday, March 12, 2012 12:57

We love connecting on various platforms and we love sharing knowledge everywhere and using various tools.

The chat is planned for 11 AM EDT (3 PM GMT) each Thursday.

*JOIN US HERE EACH WEEK!*

To follow the chat and participate in it, start tracking and using #myblogguest hashtag.

We will do our best to repeat the chat weekly (there will be various team members there answering your questions and sharing tips), but I want to be the first one special, so please get connected!

So How to Participate?

Start by remembering the time and the hashtag: #myblogguest

Now, to the tools:

1. Many smart people recommend TwChat, which I haven’t tried but will surely do. It looks very easy: just authenticate it with Twitter and choose the hashtag to follow:

2. I personally use Tweetdeck (Windows, Mac) where you can add a column and it will ring a bell each time there’s an update within that column.

There’s an option to add a column for search results, so what you’ll need to do is to click “Add column” to the top-left and set the search results for #myblogguest.

You are done! Now, whenever there’s an update with #myblogguest on Twitter you’ll be able read and reply right from the black pop-up.

So, see you there! Tweet your questions, tips and testimonials!

Oh and We Have Banners!

Help us spread the word!

Do you oppose external links during the conversation? For example, a link to a blog.

For the Linux users out there looking for a TweetDeck-like tool, I tried Gwibber and it was ok (ok being synonymous would mediocre). Got Hotot set up before the chat was over, and it looked more promising (but the chat was virtually over).

Looks like I worked out my time zones wrong, D’oh…I logged on just as everyone was logging off. I struggle with Twitter

Wow!! I have been missing this chat for a long time, hopefully will make it this week. One of the tool I can recommend is Sees.aw. Also, would you have transcripts from previous chats?
