I am happy to share that we have partnered with #BeMyGuest initiative to have even more fun with guest blogging!
To celebrate this partnership, we invite everyone to take part in our Monday’s event.
From now on each Monday is #BeMyGuest Monday!
How to participate and have fun? It’s really simple:
- Write at least one post for someone else’s blog
- Feature at least one guest post on their own blog
- Use #BeMyGuest hashtag to let the world know you are in!
All you have to do is use Twitter to tweet out your blog details and the hashtag: #BeMyGuest to let people know you’d like to take part.
Adam Vincenzini and Emily Cagle are two awesome people who will be managing the weekly even for us.

I love this idea. Thanks. I will try to remember it this week actually. I tried a guest posting thing a few times and once it worked out really well and another time it was a flop. Nobody connected after initial offer.

I'm new to this forum, so not sure I understand exactly how to do this.
Do I tweet on Monday? When you tween blog details, you are talking about your entire blog and not a blog posting?
So, if my blog is about inspiration via angels, fairies and mystical animals, I would tweet
"www.QuintessenceCreations.blogspot.com blogging about inspiration via angels, fairies and mystical animals #BeMyGuest to let people know you’d like to take part."
Then I would go into the articles gallery and post a blog for someone to pick up, and I would find a post that I would put on my blog? Or how do the posts get to other blogs? All this in one day? Or I would have written up a few blogs ahead of time, ready to post on Monday for a blog that fits the posting?
Did I understand this right? Sorry for being so anal, but not sure how this works.
Hey Stacy, let me try to explain.
#BeMyGuest is an entirely separate thing from the forum, so you may participate in it or not – that's up to you (but yes, you need to take part in it on Monday).
The whole MyBlogGuest process can be as follows:
To find guest bloggers:
1/ Post your announcement (that you accept guest posts) at "Looking for guests" board (I guess you did that already)
2/ Browse "Looking for blogs" board to find some authors you feel like would fit your blog and invite them
3/ Browse "Article Gallery" to see if there are any articles you feel like publishing.
To guest post:
1/ Post your announcement (that you want to guest post) at "Looking for blogs"
2/ Browse "Looking for guests" board to find some blogs you feel like blogging for
3/ Submit articles to "My Articles" and wait if anyone applies to them
