We value our members’ suggestions (and always make our best to implement them all) – so our new feature is %100 user-suggested!
Love them or hate them, infographics are everywhere and they are generally very well received by the readers, so we have realized that making it easier for our users to exchange infographics should be a cool idea!
So here you go: the Gallery of Infographics!
? For publishers guest infographics are a great way to diversify blog content and entertain as well as engage their users;
? For guest authors that’s a great way to help infographics go viral!
So how will it work?
- The author (PRO member) uploads the infographic to our gallery;
- The author provides as many *unique* descriptions as he/she wants;
- The bloggers (publishers) come daily to offer their blogs for cool relevant infographics which come with unique mini-post.
- The publisher chooses one offer per description (Obviously, the more descriptions, the more offers can be accepted).
- The blogger publishes the infographics and the author helps spread the word.
Everyone is happy!
Now, what are YOUR thoughts?
P.S. If you are willing to give it a chance, please watch this video to find out how the main gallery works!

Just checked out the infographic page, and it was a little confusing — until I found this post. What a great idea. Some nice infographics there as well!
Ann Smarty
Hey Kent, what was confusing to you? We are still tweaking it and we are willing to make it as clear as possible!

Thanks! We'll surely keep going!

Great post, Ann.
Now I have a question that may be a bit off-topic. What is the best software for making infographics? I believe it should be something for vector graphics editing, because all the infographics I’ve ever seen really look like they’ve been made with Illustrator or something like that.

Hey Kenneth, I am not a design expert. I am only aware of a few quite amateur tools: http://www.searchenginejournal.com/5-unbeatable-types-of-infographic-free-tools-to-create-them/27010/

Okay, great explanation. I sorta of thought it was a way to share graphics just like we do with articles. After reading this I see it will work very much like the article gallery, am I correct?

One question Ann, does the infographics maker get paid everytime a graphic is used? Is their a way to make income?
Jack
Ann Smarty
Hey Jack, no, no one gets paid in our forum. The key is that the graphic maker gets more exposure for his creation which increases its chances to go viral.
