As you might know, we’ve been requiring subheadings (as well as images) since day 1 on MyBlogGuest.

Someone may criticize us for enforcing these quality standards on users but we’ve been always good at doing what we’ve believed in.

With the introduction of the new higher quality level – Elite Guest Articles – we can’t stress the necessity of well-structured content enough…

So first let’s try to understand why we need subheadings in the first place:

The Necessity

An image is worth a thousands of words:

Quick Blog Post Ideas for Traveling Season: NOT Just Guest Posts to Keep You Going! #MyblogGuest

Getting guest posts is great for adding some spice to your blog because a new blogger brings in a fresh perspective and a new style. With services like MyBlogGuest getting high-quality content is also so easy!

The downside, with the easiness of the process, blogs get too flooded with guest posts and ultimately lose personality. During the summer break when going outside seems much more pleasing than blogging, skipping another day and using a guest post instead is even more tempting.

That’s not what we encourage!

No matter how much we want you to use our users’ free unique guest articles, we still want you to keep the personality of your blog.

Here are a few quick content ideas for the summer break (consider creating a weekly column for any, for example “Infographics Monday” or “Friday coffee links” to create a habit and encourage returning visitors.) Read more »

Essential Things To Be Aware Of When You Blog (from Our Member)

Category General Posted by

from-myblogguest-userFrom Ann: This article is written by one of our great users and I love the advice here! This article is courtesy of MyBlogGuest Articles Gallery, the best source of free unique content for your blog – and that’s the great sample of what you can get using it!

Daley is a freelance writer and blogger who knows it can take a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get into the rhythm of writing great material, and that’s before all the other stuff that can trip you up. You can find him at www.daleyjfrancis.com.

Whether you’re a small business, a lone freelancer or a large corporation, the importance of having a blog on your website is huge, and growing increasingly more relevant to business and marketing with every passing year. Gone are the days when a blog was just a way to stuff keywords into the website in order to try and get better search engine rankings, or to try and steer visitors of the site to the sale.

A blog is now a way to inform customers about who you are, what it is that you do and show just how much of an authority you are in your niche. It is the equivalent of wearing a badge that says “I know what I’m talking about”, and you’ll see more businesses with a quality blog than you will without, because businesses know this is a great way to communicate their message.

But just having a blog isn’t enough. You need to have a strategy of what you want to say and how you want to say it – by first person case studies, images and videos, helpful advice, podcasting, etc. – or it can quickly descend into an incoherent mess or become a chore. There is nothing worse than heading to a business’s website and finding out that their last blog entry was November 2011 and it reads like they couldn’t be bothered. It doesn’t give the best impression to the reader/customer. Here are a few things to consider when starting your blog: Read more »

Articles Gallery Spring Cleaning: No Dirty Links Please! #MyBlogGuest

Attention: Join our guest blogging contest here.

Also: Join us discussing the benefits of MyBlogGuest Articles Gallery for publishers in our Google Plus community.

We are doing a lot of spring cleaning these days: We’ve started with collecting feedback from our users and we are now trying to push lower quality sites from the platform while attract more active and community-driven sites. This is a long process but we are getting there.

Attracting higher quality blogs is not going to improve the database unless we have good quality to provide them with. Therefore there is Articles Gallery spring cleaning update coming!

Takeaways:

  • Longer better researched articles
  • No dirty linking please
