#MyBlogGuest Direct Feature Enhanced and Explained: Free Content Right to Your Blog Dashboard!

MyBlogGuest Direct system is one of our oldest features. It was born even before the guest Articles Gallery and was then merged into it.

When we launched our WordPress plugin, we integrated Direct in it as well, so the blog owner won’t even have to go to MyBlogGuest to update the article status (as approved / rejected) and can do everything inside his blog.

The process works like this:

  • You, as the blog owner, allow our system to send you articles to be saved as *drafts* in your WordPress dashboard.
  • Whenever any article is sent your way, you have the ability to review it, publish or reject (we are always encouraging our users to only publish articles if they *love* them)

So this is essentially a two-step process but let us look into all the specifics: Read more »

Live Collection of Guest Post Opportunities: Articles Requests for #MyBlogGuest Authors

Category #MyBlogGuest Twitter Chat Posted by

Last week we presented Articles Requests feature for publishers (because we obviously need more blog owners to kick-start that feature for everyone else).

The section is going to be the highest-quality resource of targeted guest posts on the planet: All content in it goes through the dedicated editor @Roadturn who makes sure that

  • (1) It has proper grammar and complies with our generic quality and linking policies and
  • (2) It complies with personal guidelines of each blogger.

The good thing we are already getting good feedback from publishers:

  • Letting the community filter out lower quality blogs by anonymous rating process
  • Giving more exposure to high-quality content through Elite gallery (and new Elite plan which we are giving away for free to higher-quality authors who care about improving their guest posts)
  • And finally “Articles Requests” feature which we are going to talk about this and next week…

Today we are talking about the feature for publishers, i.e. blog owners who are looking for the free high-quality content.

A couple of months ago we started spring cleaning on #MyBlogGuest (which is still underway) and we heard a lot of negative feedback from our users which I responded to in my open letter.

While trying to fight lower-quality linky content in the gallery that puts good bloggers off AND puts you under Google penalty risk, we are moving forward with another plan: Trying to collaborate with our users closer.

That’s how the Elite plan test was born. Read more »
